Mission Statement

At His Paw Prints Christian Childcare Center, our mission is to provide a Christ-centered, inclusive learning environment where every child is welcomed, valued, and encouraged to reach their God-given potential. We believe each child is uniquely created in the image of God and deserves opportunities to learn in a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom regardless of ability, background, culture, or language. Through developmentally appropriate practices, evidence-based instruction, meaningful family partnerships, and individualized support, we foster academic, social-emotional, physical, and spiritual growth. Our goal is to prepare children with typical and atypical development for lifelong learning by building a strong foundation of faith, kindness, curiosity, confidence, and respect for others.

Our vision is to be Southern New Jersey's leading inclusive Christian preschool where children of all abilities learn, grow, and thrive together in an environment rooted in God's love. We strive to create a community where diversity is celebrated, every child feels a sense of belonging, and families are respected as essential partners in their child's education. By combining faith-based values with research-based instructional practices and early intervention services, we prepare children to become compassionate, confident, and lifelong learners who positively impact their schools, communities, and the world around them.

Meet the Director!

Director Kimberly Kerr with her son, Connor. 

Hello! My name is Kimberly Kerr, and I am honored to serve as the director of His Paw Prints Christian Childcare Center. My passion for education comes from a lifelong love of learning, a deep commitment to serving children and families, and my faith in God. I earned my undergraduate degree in Spanish and Modern Languages and Linguistics at Rowan University, and studied in Barcelona, Spain at the Universidad de Barcelona for a semester. These experiences helped me develop an appreciation for language, communication, and the rich diversity of cultures that shape children's lives. Wanting to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children, I continued my education at Grand Canyon University, where I am currently pursuing a my master's degree of Early Childhood Education and Special Education. My graduate studies are strengthening my knowledge of child development, inclusive educational practices, early intervention, and evidence-based strategies that help every child succeed.

As the mother of my wonderful two-year-old son, Connor, I understand the hopes and trust families place in their child's teachers. Becoming a parent has profoundly influenced my approach to education. My personal philosophy is simple: I strive to be the teacher I would want my own son to have when he begins school. Every decision I make is guided by the question, "Would this create the kind of loving, safe, and enriching environment I want for Connor?" That perspective reminds me to treat every child with the same patience, compassion, encouragement, and respect that I hope my own child will experience each day.

As a devout Catholic, my faith is the foundation of both my personal life and my leadership. I believe every child is a precious gift from God, created with unique talents, abilities, and purpose. At HPCCC, we strive to reflect Christ's love by creating an inclusive community where children of all abilities, cultures, languages, and backgrounds are welcomed with open arms. We teach children to love one another, celebrate differences, practice kindness, and grow in faith while receiving a high-quality early childhood education grounded in research and developmentally appropriate practices.

It is a privilege to partner with families throughout Southern New Jersey as we nurture children's academic, social-emotional, physical, and spiritual growth. Together, we can help every child build confidence, discover their unique gifts, and develop a lifelong love of learning while walking in the footsteps of Christ.
